My friend Mona had her baby girl early May. And last week, I took her newborn photos. She was so good! She slept the whole time. Except when I tried to put her on her tummy. She hated it! She was only 2 weeks and whenever I would try to put her on her tummy, she would fight so hard to try and turn over! So funny! Of course, she won. No tummy time!
The forecast for this session was rain. But we were lucky! It was a beatiful sunny day! And since Turtles, their dog, couldn’t really go into the beach, she couldn’t be in the beach photos. But she was so well behaved. Overall, it was such a fun and beautiful day at a beautiful location with a beautiful family!
While my aunt was here from the Philippines, we not only toured Seattle, we also went to Vancouver to see some of their nice parks. It’s so pretty. We just had a day of family, fun, and photos! My mom took some family photos of me, Bubba and Jeff. She also took the one of me and Jeff at the waterfall. Family photos and photos of just me and Jeff are so hard to come by. It’s great to have someone else handling the camera once in a while.
My aunt from the Philippines was here this past month and I took some family photos of them while we did the tourist thing. It was fun. I hadn’t seen them in years. I love the location, too.
My cousin has been so excited for this photo shoot for a loooong time. Her boyfriend, Saef, is from London. So they don’t see each other as often as they’d like. When she found out he was going to visit her, she contacted me and asked me if I’d take photos of them. Of course, I said yes! And when Saef finally came in April, we had like a 3-day session! We had so much fun touring the city and taking photos. There are so many photos that I love, it was so hard to choose which ones to show on the blog. There were LOTS!
My Bubba is growing so fast! And so is his hair. He is in dire need of a haircut.
I took these on his 20th month. He’s such a boy! So rowdy. And he’s going through the Terrible Two’s already! He started at 18 months. He gets into everything and he’s at his “Let’s-see-what-I-can-get-away-with” phase. It can be so exhausting and frustrating. But then when he runs to me for a hug and a kiss out of nowhere…my heart just melts! 
*sigh* I love my Bubba!
Most of these were taken at home or in the car. The carousel photos are so funny! We watched Mary Poppins, and he loved the part with the penguins and the carousel horses coming to life. So, I decided to take him to ride on a real carousel. He DID NOT like it. He couldn’t wait to get out! Poor guy. Maybe when he’s older I’ll try again.
My friend, Mona had her baby girl earlier this May. She had her baby shower in March. I love baby showers! And the games! Some people don’t like shower games, but I love them! They had a Princess & the Frog theme going on. So the colors were a lovely green, gold and purple. Like Mardi Gras!
Every year at The Quad in the University of Washington, the Cherry Blossoms would bloom and everyone comes to take photos. They’re so beautiful! I took my Bubba with me, along with my mom, grandpa and little bro. My mom ended up taking a couple of pictures of us, too.
So, our church had a Valentine’s Day Dinner to raise money to donate to the relief efforts for Haiti. I was approached about doing some photos for the couples. It was pretty fun and I had a pretty cute set-up. Here’s a couple of our test shots.
So, my nephew was born towards the end of January. I did his newborn shoot. It was quite challenging. Little guy would NOT stop crying whenever he’s laid down. He was quiet for maybe a total of 10 minutes. LOL! We had to end the session very early. I think it only lasted about 30-45 minutes. But this is what I got before he decided that he’s done for the day!
