On a whim, we just decided to go out and get some family photos done. It was actually the day before Valentine’s Day, so, I guess we can say that it’s our Valentine’s Day photos. It’s always a challenge for me to get good shots of all three of us together. And this time is no different. But, we bravely pushed on. I’m glad we did, as the first photo is now hanging on our wall! I can’t believe Bubba’s personality has shown so genuinely through his photos! I LOVE them all! But, I’m a bit biased. 
We’d been planning Bubba’s first trip to Disneyland for quite some time and have been soooo excited about it! And now that it’s all over, we can’t wait to plan our Holidays at Disneyland trip! I’ll definitely be bringing my DSLR to Disneyland for the holidays. I’m a little disappointed in myself for only bringing the point and shoot for such a huge family trip. But we still got some pretty great shots with it, with special thanks to my handy dandy Gorillapod! There are LOTS of photos to look through. We were there for about a week! We stopped by San Francisco first and visited with my cousins and a couple of friends for the weekend. Then, we drove to Anaheim for Disneyland!
The forecast for this session was rain. But we were lucky! It was a beatiful sunny day! And since Turtles, their dog, couldn’t really go into the beach, she couldn’t be in the beach photos. But she was so well behaved. Overall, it was such a fun and beautiful day at a beautiful location with a beautiful family!
While my aunt was here from the Philippines, we not only toured Seattle, we also went to Vancouver to see some of their nice parks. It’s so pretty. We just had a day of family, fun, and photos! My mom took some family photos of me, Bubba and Jeff. She also took the one of me and Jeff at the waterfall. Family photos and photos of just me and Jeff are so hard to come by. It’s great to have someone else handling the camera once in a while.
My aunt from the Philippines was here this past month and I took some family photos of them while we did the tourist thing. It was fun. I hadn’t seen them in years. I love the location, too.
My Bubba is growing so fast! And so is his hair. He is in dire need of a haircut.
I took these on his 20th month. He’s such a boy! So rowdy. And he’s going through the Terrible Two’s already! He started at 18 months. He gets into everything and he’s at his “Let’s-see-what-I-can-get-away-with” phase. It can be so exhausting and frustrating. But then when he runs to me for a hug and a kiss out of nowhere…my heart just melts! *sigh* I love my Bubba!
Most of these were taken at home or in the car. The carousel photos are so funny! We watched Mary Poppins, and he loved the part with the penguins and the carousel horses coming to life. So, I decided to take him to ride on a real carousel. He DID NOT like it. He couldn’t wait to get out! Poor guy. Maybe when he’s older I’ll try again.
Every year at The Quad in the University of Washington, the Cherry Blossoms would bloom and everyone comes to take photos. They’re so beautiful! I took my Bubba with me, along with my mom, grandpa and little bro. My mom ended up taking a couple of pictures of us, too.
We made some chocolate chip cookies earlier after dinner. Bubba loves cookies. So, we gave him one. Of course you know what the result is. But it’s more fun to post a picture…or two!
Finally got my family Christmas cards sent out yesterday. I’m expecting everyone to get them by Friday at the latest! 
(Except for the international mail.) Soooo, that means that I can go ahead and post our family photos! Yay! It’s so hard to get nice family pictures of my own family. We were supposed to do them on Thanksgiving, but we just didn’t have the time, or energy. So, this was actually a very last minute photoshoot. And I had to bring my tripod and everything. We went to a Japanese garden close to our home. It’s a beautiful place. But we only got to shoot around the entrance because my toddler decided that he was done after 30 minutes. So, here are the results!
Here is a maternity/family portraits session from a couple weeks ago. I finished editing last week, but I haven’t had time to update the blog. This was a fun shoot.
