So, I’ve been having this idea of kind of photographing someone spending the day with their alter ego. It would have been time consuming using just one model and photoshopping his/herself into all the photos. It’s clear that I needed twins for this shoot. Luckily, I know just the perfect pair! It was quite a fun day. Although it was a bit cold and windy near the water, it actually sort of worked to our advantage. I love the wind-blown look to some of the photos. I even got a bit of behind the scenes shots of my assistant and creative director, Bubba!

Bubba loves his dogs, Sakura and Hana. And I realized, they don’t have alot of photos together! What? So, the other day, we decided that since it’s such a nice day out, we’re going to just play with the dogs in the yard and snap some photos. Fun!

If you’ve never heard of Vinylmations, it’s probably best for your wallet. They’re quite addicting. Jeff and I have started collecting them last year. They’re these cute little vinyl figures shaped like Mickey Mouse. The Mickey Mouse shape is more like a canvas for artists to create cool art. You can also “create-your-own” vinyls using blank palettes that they sell at the Disney Parks or Disney Stores. They recently came out with a Nerds series. And we had to have them. Rather than keeping them in the box, we decided to play with them. Here’s Nerd Mickey & Nerd Minnie on a date in Seattle!

My cousin from Australia has moved to Los Angeles for a year to do missions work. She’s been living there since February! It’s a very exciting time in her life! Such an adventure, too! Since she’s in LA, it’s easier for her to come to Seattle. This week, she flew in to Seattle to surprise our cousin and the rest of the family for the wedding. And I couldn’t pass up a chance to do some shots downtown! And with this model, can you blame me? I also had the help of my friend, FJ (Who is amazing, btw!) with most of the posing and he also styled her. And of course, FJ modeled a little bit for me, too! He also took a couple of photos of me. And one candid that I really like! I love every photo! It was so hard to filter through them.

We got a suit for Bubba a few days ago for my cousin’s wedding. He’s the ring bearer. So, when he was modeling it, I had to take a couple photos!

For Mother’s Day, I gathered all the mothers, including myself, and just took photos with our kids! My mom even asked for a couple of solo shots. Fun afternoon overall!

My mom asked me to take photos of my little bro in his cap and gown. It had to be a quick shoot, because it was pretty cold and windy that day. The photo with the American flag behind him shows just how patriotic my brother is. And he really is.

I flew into Cali a month after one of my best friends gave birth to her first baby, Miss C. She’s so adorable, and am so glad I saw her while she was still tiny! Babies grow waaaay too fast and I’m glad I was able to capture her at her first month. She’s so adorable. She slept most of the time. I think she only cried because we kept interrupting her sleep. She’s just too cute! The photos are all black and white/sepia because, I think that newborn photos look best in black and white/sepia.

On a whim, we just decided to go out and get some family photos done. It was actually the day before Valentine’s Day, so, I guess we can say that it’s our Valentine’s Day photos. It’s always a challenge for me to get good shots of all three of us together. And this time is no different. But, we bravely pushed on. I’m glad we did, as the first photo is now hanging on our wall! I can’t believe Bubba’s personality has shown so genuinely through his photos! I LOVE them all! But, I’m a bit biased.
